Recently, the interest on wine consumption effects is increased as different clinical trials revealed that a moderate wine consumption is associated to a reduced risk of some diseases. Red wine contains some healthy compounds, such as trans-resveratrol and other polyphenols in a proportion depending on the grape variety. In this work, we have compared polyphenols and trace elements compositions of wines obtained from Campania region: white wines Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino, and red wines Taurasi and Aglianico.

Abstract

Recently, the interest on wine consumption effects is increased as different clinical trials revealed that a moderate wine consumption is associated to a reduced risk of some diseases.
