Abstract

The Council of State’s ruling of 20 October 2021, n. 7045, definitively closes the issue raised by a group of “anti-vax” doctors and social health workers who contested the legitimacy of the vaccination obligation introduced by art. 4 of the l. May 28, 2021, n. 76. Council of State faces and rejects all the scientific and legal complaints submitted by the appellants. The pronouncement appears of great interest for how it builds the relationship between the democratic nature of the legal system and the vaccination obligation in the society of distrust, i.e., in the society of vaccination hesitation of disinformation, fake and unsubstantiated news.
