Promuovere la dual career nel calcio. Una proposta pedagogica Promoting the dual career in football.A pedagogical proposal

This study aims to reflect upon the importance of promoting actions for the dissemination of dual career programmes to promote school and university education and/or the progressive integration into the labor market of young footballers. In order to implement these actions, we have investigated and examined the role the sports director is playing in supporting programs that ecourage the development of skills which help young footballers cope with transitions affecting their sports experience and post-career years.

Questo studio intende avviare una riflessione pedagogica sull’importanza di promuovere azioni finalizzate alla diffusione di programmi di dual career volti a favorire la formazione scolastica e universitaria e/o il graduale inserimento nel mondo del lavoro dei giovani calciatori. Lo studio individua il direttore sportivo quale possibile promotore di programmi per lo sviluppo nei calciatori di competenze necessarie a fronteggiare le transizioni che contrassegnano l’esperienza sportiva e il post career.
