The aim of this work is to deepen the theme of sports events and its strategic approach, both from an operational and managerial point of view. The phenomenon of sports events, in close correlation with the transformation of the concept of “sport”, has gained increasing social, educational, cultural and economic importance over time. In this regard, it is necessary to implement an efficient and effective management strategy capable of enhancing the strengths and opportunities that a sports event can generate both locally and globally. At the same time, from the point of view of futuristic and sustainable design, the importance of post-event evaluation and the socio-economic results achieved is highlighted.
