The purpose of this research work is to highlight the contribution that football can provide for the educational and formative recovery in prison. Prisoners are considered as weak points in the Italian prison system today, and this is why they need targeted educational interventions for their correct integration into the social context. This paper aims at promoting the educational importance of football according to the social life of any individual, with specific reference to young prisoners, analyzing both the psycho-physical and socio- pedagogical point of view.
