The present paper was created with the aim of investigating the role of sport in the management of the training process. We must consider that, from this point of view, sport has a fundamental role that starts from the simple playful aspect to get to the aspects more properly of the agonistic activity. The starting point of the paper was the definition of the role of physical education in schools, to then shift the focus on aspects of psycho-pedagogical nature.

Abstract
