Abstract

The innovation in the area of training methods, in the context of doctoral courses, is evaluated considering how much the training pathways are able to produce value in the area of human capital in research, referring to these indicators: a) scientific productivity; b) abilitiy to attract funds from subjects trained within that particular PhD course. To meet this need, to which the text refers, the following experience, carried out within the PhD program in the Department of Motion and Wellness Sciences of the University of Naples, Parthenope, aimed at didactically enhancing the training aspects related to the two macro indicators of effectiveness and quality of the course provided by introducing, in the course's teaching, an experimental module of "research training methodology" realized through a Journal Club laboratory.
