Abstract
Ecosystems are complex, adaptative, hierarchical systems, highly interrelated by a web of matter and energy flows and characterised by non equilibrium and irreversible phenomena. In this paper a concise classification of mathematical models in ecology is given, with special reference to graphical programming languages and Ecodynamics approach. Two ecological models were developed using STELLA software, a powerful and flexible language for building models of dynamic systems and processes.File in questo prodotto:
