In this paper the distribution of the Rice factor (K) is experimentally evaluated within the mode stirred Reverberating Chamber (RC) of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, formerly Istituto Universitario Navale (IUN). The experimental distribution, obtained for different K values is contrasted with a reference Nakagami-m distribution. To generate different K values, the same RC configuration is adopted with a non-stationary receiving antenna position, i.e. the receiving antenna is placed on a rotating table. Experimental results confirm the soundness of the approach and demonstrate that K distribution well fits the reference Nagakami-m model.

Abstract
In this paper the distribution of the Rice factor (K) is experimentally evaluated within the mode stirred Reverberating Chamber (RC) of the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, formerly Istituto Universitario Navale (IUN). The experimental distribution, obtained for different K values is contrasted with a reference Nakagami-m distribution. To generate different K values, the same RC configuration is adopted with a non-stationary receiving antenna position, i.e. the receiving antenna is placed on a rotating table. Experimental results confirm the soundness of the approach and demonstrate that K distribution well fits the reference Nagakami-m model.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
