Le recenti misure per contrastare l'impatto ambientale del trasporto aereo.

The issue of the environmental impact of the transport by air is the core of the ICAO and EU Policies. In this respect the 39th ICAO Assembly held in October 2016 adopted a global measure of the market (i.e. market based measure) for the International Aviation. Once implemented this could offer a concrete contribution to achieving the objectives of the Paris agreement. In the near future, the activities regulations of the ICAO will be particularly focused on the definition of the technical details and government structure of the system. On the other hand, the Commission – in the light of the conclusions of the 39th ICAO Assembly – is likely to adopt solutions in order to harmonizing the New Market Measurement System with the ETS of the EU.

Il problema dell’impatto ambientale del trasporto aereo è al centro delle politiche dell’ICAO e dell’Ue. La 39ma Assemblea ICAO dell’ottobre 2016 ha portato all’adozione di una misura globale di mercato MBM (Market Based Measure) per l’aviazione internazionale, la cui attuazione potrà offrire un concreto contributo per il raggiungimento degli obiettivi di cui all’accordo di Parigi. Nel prossimo futuro, l’attività normativa dell’ICAO sarà rivolta alla definizione dei dettagli tecnici e della struttura di governo del sistema. D’altra parte, la Commissione alla luce delle conclusioni della 39a assemblea dell’ICAO dovrà adottare delle soluzioni allo scopo di armonizzare la nuova misura di mercato con il sistema ETS dell’UE
