Within this manuscript, a new algorithm for man made structures and subsidence rate monitoring is presented. The approach exploits several images acquired by space borne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) in interferometric configuration. By measuring phase difference between acquisitions, it is possible to jointly estimate both the height and the deformation velocity of any pixel of the imaged scene. To achieve such results, the proposed methodology exploits the instruments provided by the statistical estimation theory. The main peculiarity of the algorithm, compared to other techniques existing in literature, is its ability to process not only the so-called stable points but the whole observed scene. First interesting results are reported showing the effectiveness of the idea.
