Italian Regional Councils are seeking legitimacy as Parliament through a new way of structuring their support staff redesigning mechanisms of governance that reshape the relationship between politicians and administrators from separate to complementary roles emphasizing management and organizational role of the Secretary General as administrative apex. Mechanisms of governance and organization drawn by legitimized patterns of parliamentary administration lead to innovation and administrative reform on roles of governance and structure.
