The study aimed to investigate the supply chain system Irpinia winemaking in order to recognize the forms of organization, identify the needs of policy and particularly describing the ability to "create value" in terms of multifunctional valorization and strategies of differentiation and diversification. In particular, in line with the theoretical model default, the analysis was carried out following the same structure adopted for the other sectors. The methodological approach used for conducting the case study, therefore, led to analyze the development paths taken by both traditional companies which those who have differentiated or diversified.
