It is a new era for herigate conservation with the development of the science and technology. Basedd on the material science and engineering, it is reasonable to protect the old buildings from the chemical decay with the new technology, and to use the new materials to construct the relative new buildings. This paper present the technologies such ad characterization, test and analysis methods and self cleaning photocatalyst materials which will be helpful to postpone getting old of the architectures.
