The paper analyses the Textile and Clothing Industry of Campania Region from a financial perspective. In particular, financial point of weakness and needs of firms are evaluated in order to promote the industry’s internationalization. First the paper compares the Campania’s Textile and Clothing industries with best in class Italian firms, then it analyses the weakness and needs of the regional industry by using two matrixes with two by two dimensions. In the last section the paper advances suggestions in terms of policies aimed at sustaining the industry’s international development.
