The article explains first results obtained by an alternative software developed for handling of LIDAR data: the essential requisite of this software is the capability to obtain building models without any graphic editing contribution by means of the customer, whose task is only to choose the segmentation parameters. The quality of the modelling strictly depends on the chosen parameters and on the results of the previous filtering phase performed to identify the ground points The algorithm deals with statistic procedures, research and classification calculus with application of connected graphs method that work on a TIN structure computed on the points cloud; in the final modelling phase the planes are used as primitive shape for reconstruction of roofs’ pitches. As conclusive process, the software verifies reciprocal adjacency and intersections between pitches for final roof reconstruction. The use of the software is made simple and intuitive by means of the application of graphic tools.

Abstract
The use of the software is made simple and intuitive by means of the application of graphic tools.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
