Abstract
The use of 3D printing in medicine has rapidly grown in the last decades. Among all the possible applications, particularly in neurosurgery, the combination with neuronavigation technology have provided new perspectives and advanced possibilities to approach and address clinical challenges. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the emerging applications of 3D printing in combination with neuronavigation in the field of neurosurgery. Our work focuses on analyzing current scientific literature in order to highlight challenges and advances in the field, identifying the advantages and limits of this combination of technologies in neurosurgery. Additionally, we present a detailed case study that concretely illustrates the integration of these innovative technologies in a clinical setting. This contribution aims to offer a perspective on the opportunities presented by the combined use of 3D printing and neuronavigation, emphasizing the impact of these advanced solutions in the modern surgical practice.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
