This study aims to understand technostress in organizational, managerial and Information Systems (IS) fields through a social network analysis. It was conducted a systematic literature review and a bibliometric analysis by using one online database, such as Scopus, to detect and analyze the state of art of the literature on the topic and Excel, VoSviewer and Gephi for bibliometric analysis. A dataset of 441 publications was analyzed through citation and co-citation analysis. Results of co-citation analysis shown the existence of a network of the 80 most cited sources and 5 topic clusters: the cluster of possible behavioral responses to the use of technologies, stress and technostress; the cluster of the use of technologies that can generate technostress, and vice versa, also with the influence of personal and environmental factors, and its impact on productivity and personal and professional performance; the cluster of positive and negative aspects and effects related to the use of technologies, the environment, stress and technostress; the cluster of cognitive and emotional processes related to the use of technologies, stress and technostress and the cluster of technostressors, stress inhibitors, social and work environment conditions and awareness and their impact on well-being and technostress. This paper contributes to the literature by presenting a comprehensive overview on the phenomenon of technostress in organizational, managerial and IS fields and leads to further reflections on the use of information and communication technologies to obtain even more sophisticated and more predictive informations on the technostress generated by the use of technologies for a better understanding and management of the work of manager and workers in the company.
