The article aims to illustrate some aspects of the international terminology project YourTerm FEM, to which the authors have contributed with different roles, and which addresses one of the current challenges posed to the development and dissemination of terminology. Coordinated by the Terminology Unit of the European Parliament (TermCoord), the project is part of a broader multilingual initiative, “Terminology Without Borders”, that covers different disciplinary fields and is carried out in collaboration with the Agencies of the European Union, of the United Nations and several universities. In particular, the study presents the preliminary results and some terminological issues of the project on the terminology of women’s rights, YourTerm FEM, in which the University of Naples “Parthenope”, represented by the Doctoral course in Euro(pean) Languages and Specialized Terminology, has taken part since 2020.
