Adopting a multi-level (international, supranational and national), multi-disciplinary (Labour Law, Social Security, Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management) and multi-dimensional (physical, psychophysical, psychosocial and social; individual and collective) approach, this essay aims at proposing well-being at work as a new protective paradigm for Labour with an eye to the pandemic. It also investigates the challenges that paradigm is confronted with due to the increasing importance of smart and platform working as emphasized by the pandemic in the form of ‘forced home-working’.
