Football, practiced by young guys in the prisons, is an important element of rehabilitative treatment and prevention of recidivism, offering a different dimension of space, circumscribed and controlled in itself. The prison, a closed and indigent place par excellence, is a challenge of great impact for the education of children through sports. Football activity supports the development and reintegration of minors at both individual and social level; playing sports in the period of puberty and adolescence involves many benefits that support the person’s welfare, physical health and psychological/relational balance. The study of the rehabilitative factors contributes to improving the quality of life, the promotion of social relationships based on supporting and disseminating a culture based on respect for rules and common life.
