In this paper the aspects and the capability of GPS marine applications along with some considerations on GPS marine use are pointed out. In particular three kinds of application fields are considered: low, medium, and high performances as to the required accuracy level. Finally kinematic applications and results as well as comparison of kinematic models and some tests are discussed.
