Profili demografici, economici e sociali dell’immigrazione e prospettive di “governance” a livello internazionale

The different demographic, economic and social aspects of migration are global, and involve all International Community. Migration is an international issue, and it is very important to regulate the general aspects of the phenomenon at international level, by few common principles. The national regulation should effect these principles. Some international organization can take an important role in international regulation of migration, because of his high consensus and fast and effective decision mechanisms. The regulation of migration has a big gap, because it is a national regulation. For that reason, it satisfies the interests of destination’s countries, instead of to consider also the need of migrants. To satisfy both groups of interests is essential an international migration regulation, composed by few basic principles that have to be the foundation of international law of migration.
